Cách Dùng Some Any Much Many
I/ SOME
some: vài, 1 vài, 1 ít trong số, 1 số.some: được xem là hình thức số nhiều củaa, an.someđứng trước danh từ số nhiều đếm được và danh từ ko đếm được.Bạn đang xem: Cách dùng some any much many
EX:
There’ssomemilk in the fridge.(Có 1 ít sữa trong tủ lạnh.)
There aresomebooks on the table.(Có vài quyển sách trên bàn.)
Sử dụng “some” khichưa xác định rõ số lượng.Sử dụng “some” trong câu hỏi đểbộc lộ rõ ý muốn của người nói, đặc biệt trong câu yêu cầu và đề nghị. Khi đó, người nói mong muốn được đáp lại bằng “yes”.EX:
Did you buysomemilk?(Bạn đã mua 1 ít sữa phải ko?)
II/ MANY
many: nhiều.manythường đứng trước danh từ đếm được.Sử dụng “many” khi muốnám chỉ 1 số lượng lớn.Được dùng chủ yếu trongcâu hỏi và câu phủ định.EX:
I havemanyfriends here.(Ở đây tôi có nhiều bạn.)
Howmanyfloors does your school have?(Trường bạn có bao nhiêu tầng?)
There aren’tmanystudents in this school.(Không có nhiều học sinh ở trường này.)
III/ ANY
anykhông có nghĩa xác định.anythường được dùng trongcâu hỏi và câu phủ định.anyđứng trước danh từ số nhiều đếm được hoặc danh từ ko đếm được.Khi đạt câu hỏi vớiany, người đóngụ ý nghi ngờ, không biết điều mình hỏi có hay không có.EX:
Are thereanyoranges?(Có quả cam nào không?)
No, there aren’tanyoranges.(Không, không có quả cam nào cả.)
Is thereanycheese in the fridge?(Có chút pho mát nào trong tủ lạnh không?)
No, there isn’tanycheese in the fridge./No,there isn’t.
IV/ MUCH
muchthường dùng trongcâu phủ định và câu hỏi.muchđi vớidanh từ không đếm được.EX:
I don’t havemuchtime.(Tôi ko có nhiều thời gian.)
I don’t havemuchmoney.(Tôi ko có nhiều tiền.)
V/ A LOT OF VÀ LOTS OF
a lot ofcó nghĩa là nhiều, 1 số lượng nhiềua lot ofthường được dùng trongcâu khẳng định.a lot oflà cách nói khác củalots of.a lot ofvàlots ofthường đi vớidanh từ không đếm được và danh từ số nhiều.EX:There’sa lot ofrain today.(Hôm nay mưa nhiều.)
A lot ofstudents are studying in the library.(Nhiều học sinh đang học bài trong thư viện.)
There arelots ofpeople here.(Có nhiều người ở đây.)
VI/ FEW, A FEW VÀ LITTLE, A LITTLE
FEW, A FEWdùng với danh từ đếm được cònLITTLEvàA LITTLEthì dùng cho danh từ không đếm được.
Còn muốn phân biệt giữa từng cặp với nhau thì xem xét như sau:
Nhìn trong câu tìm xem có ý nàoLÀM GIẢM ĐI SỐ LƯỢNGdanh từ đi sau nó hay không, nếu có thì dùngFEW (hoặc LITTLE)( = ít ) còn không có thì dùngA LITTLE (hoặc A FEW)( = 1 ít, một vài )Các bạn xem ví vụ sau nhé :
The window is so small that the room gets ………… air.
littlea littlefewa fewNhìn phía sau thấy chữ air không có s –>không đếm đượcnên loại câu C và D, xét tiếp nội dung câu ta thấyso smallnghĩa là cửa sổ quá nhỏ –>làm giảm số lượngkhông khí vào phòng nên chọn câu A: little
Ví dụ 2:
I enjoy my lifehere. I have ……………… friends and we meet quite often.

CÁCH HIỂU 2:
**Chú ý**rằng giữaa littlevàlittlecó một chút khác biệt, tương tự như giữaa fewvàfew. Vớia little, ta hiểu rằngchúng ta có một ít cái gì đó nhưng nó là vừa đủ, còn vớilittlethì nó có nghĩarất ít, không đủ để đáp ứng nhu cầu:
I have a little money, enough for the cinema at least= Tôi còn một ít tiền, vừa đủ để đi xem phim.
I have little money. I really can’t afford to go out= Tôi còn rất ít tiền, không đủ để đi chơi.
VD khác:
There have been few problems with the new system, thankfully!= May mắn là hệ thống mới có rất ít vấn đề.
Luckily, there is little crime in my town= May mắn thay, thành phố của chúng ta có rất ít tội phạm.
I’m so pleased that I have few arguments with my family= Tôi rất vui vì tôi rất ít tranh cãi với gia đình.
It’s great that there’’s been very little bad weather this month= Thật tuyệt vì tháng này ít có thời tiết xấu.
Ngoài ra các bạn cũng có thể dựa vào các dấu hiệu sau để làm bài.
Nếu gặp ONLY, QUITE thì chọna few, a littleNếu gặp : VERY, SO TOO thì chọnlittle, fewmà không cần xem xét gì thêm nữa.Ví dụ:
